Sudoku doesn't require any mathematical calculations. It is a simple and fun game of logic in which you have to place numbers or other symbols in empty cells. All you need to solve a Sudoku is common sense and concentration.
There is really only one rule for Sudoku puzzles: fill in the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 occur no more than once in each row, column and 3x3 grid. The numbers can appear in any order, as long as they occur only once. Your initial game board consists of several numbers that are already provided. You have to place the rest of the numbers.
Many of the Sudoku games available on this site follow the rules of the classic Sudoku, with unique twists. Some games take the diagonal of the game board into account, while others replace the 3x3 grid is replaced by other shapes. How to solve a Sudoku
Follow these steps to solve a Sudoku:
Step 1: Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each row exactly once.
Step 2: Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each column exactly once.
Step 3: Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each 3x3 grid exactly once.
Step 4: A complete Sudoku game contains the numbers 1 through 9 in every row, column and 3x3 grid.
